New medical adviser for Nepal

12 January 2012 – Starting this year Eye Care Foundation has a new medical advisor for her projects in Nepal. Coen Hiemstra is currently working for the Eye Hospital in Rotterdam and is looking forward to his work for our organisation. Coen: ‘In September 2009 I visited the Himalaya Eye Hospital in Pokhara and I was lucky to join an Eye camp in Jumla with dr Indraman.Nepal made a great impression on me. On the one side the beauty of the country, on the other side the severe eye pathology and harsh living conditions around Jumla. I will do my best to contribute to improve the eye care in Nepal.’
